Congratulations to Arlington youth poet, Lola Marchant!
In 2026, the Arlington Sister Cities Association ran its first local Youth Artist and Authors Showcase to allow Arlington youth and Arlingtons’ Sister Cities’ youth to compete in the national Sister Cities International Youth Artist and Author’s showcase.
Our first year was not only a success for bringing together amazing young artists from Arlington, but also because one of our local winners won at the national level! A huge congratulations to poet Lola Marchant for winning 3rd place nationally in the Age 12 – 14 category for her poem, “The Trembling Generation.”
